Several athletes from Law & District AAC competed in the National Junior Road Race held at East Kilbride on Sunday 22nd March. Adding to many recent achievements, Craig Wellcoat took the Silver medal in the U15 race in a time of 14.20 minutes. Craig alongside Ross Hill and Daniel Graham were 5th team home. In U13 Sherelle Graham came 15th, Laura McArdle 54th , Sarah Richardson 71st were 12th team home. Luke Foss in 15th place, Calum Lindsay 34th and Steven Bryce 91st ran well into 10th U13 team. Both Emma Bhatti and Samantha Stevenson came 35th and 48th respectively in U15, while in U17 Jonathan Velu came 20th and Thomas Lafferty 34th.
At the Scottish Athletics Indoor League Finals held in the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow on 15th March, three Law & District teams were involved. The U17 womans team came 4th, U11 boys 5th and U20 men also 5th. The success of the day went to the U13 boys relay team who won the Gold medal, Evan Jones, Steven Murphy, Connor Thomson and Darren Daly were especially delighted having lost out at the recent national relays.
