Club Presentation Dance Report 2009
Law and District AAC held their Annual Presentation/Dance on Saturday 21st November at New Douglas Park Stadium, Hamilton, where over 220 people attended. The new Club President, Siobhan Lindsay, opened the evening's proceedings by welcoming the Special Guests, coaches, athletes and families and then congratulated the club for another successful year in Athletics. Mrs Lindsay then thanked everyone for their support and raffle donations and wished them all an enjoyable evening.
The presentations began with the Shine Award medals at Level 2 and 3 which were presented to several of the younger athletes by Mr Jim Goldie, South Lanarkshire Athletics Development Officer. This was followed by Mr Pat Kelly presenting Honourary Life Memberships to Mr William Drysdale and Mr James Rowley. The
Club Championships in both Track & Field and Cross Country and also the Discretionary Awards were then warmly presented to the athletes by Mr Tommy Boyle, GB International Coach, for the following categories:-
