Lewis achieves a PB at Celtic Indoor International

Lewis Nicholson achieved a well deserved PB in the U20 men 6kg shot putt event at the Celtic Indoor International Championships, held at the UWIC in Cardiff on Sunday 29th January. Lewis threw an amazing 12.75 metres. Well done Lewis!

Announcing our young competitors in superteams

Law & District are proud to announce the young athletes who will be taking part in U12 superTEAMS on Saturday 11th February 2012 at Kelvin Hall. The youngsters, age 9, 10 and 11 will be representing both Law & District AAC and John Cumming Stadium at this exciting event. All athletes will take part in the 60m sprint, high jump, shot putt and 4x200m relay.

Well done to Joanne Marriott who completed the Scottish Athletics Coaching Assistant course at Livingston at the weekend. Joanne will join the coaching squad at John Cumming Stadium, Carluke. Look forward to seeing you out on track Joanne :) happy .

Law & District mentioned at Aviva International

Law & District AAC enjoyed a moment of fame at the Aviva International Match at the Kelvin Hall on Saturday 29th January. TV cameras homed in on young athletes Robbie Barr and Adam Boyle, holding their hand made 'GO TEAM GB' posters and the TV commentator mentioned the young supporters from 'nearby Law & District'.

Lewis Nicholson has been selected for the Scotland Squad competing in the Under 20 Shot at the Celtic Indoor International. The event takes place in UWIC Cardiff on Sunday 29th January. All at Law and District AAC wish Lewis all the best and well done on his selection.
